Importing Previously Coded Verbatims and Code Frame(s)

CodeIT allows you to import previously coded verbatims, at no cost, using code values from the original code frame. This historical data may be used to quickly generate the CodeIt AI coding model for auto-coding of new data.

You will need a data file where the verbatims and codes can be represented in 2 basic formats:

  • Concatenated - where the codes are in a single cell, delimited by semicolons

RID SOURCE Verbatim Text TARGET Code Data
1 I love the pizza and the service was good, from the person taking the order to the delivery it was all good. 103
9 The pizza arrived in a timely manner, it was hot, and the ingredients were as requested. 301;104;202
10 It was delivered in good time and tasted great, and it was what we ordered. 101;102;104;303
15 We got pepperoni pizza - the service was good, really polite. They said, "Hello, welcome to Tony's Pizza" when we went in.

205;103

  • Expanded - where each code resides is a separate cell
